Act Two. She was honored at the 2001 Chicago Humanities Festival.
Her ballad, _x001c_Lies of Handsome Men_x001d_ is recorded by Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Blossom Dearie, Donna McKechnie and many others. It formed the romantic climax of the film _x001c_The Awakening.
