David Lawrence scored and/or contributed songs to Disney's "High School Musical 1, 2, & 3", "Cheetah Girls, 2 & 3", " "Starstruck" and MTV's "American Mall". He is proud to be one of the songwriters (along with writer/wife Faye Greenberg) on the original "High School Musical" soundtrack, the best selling CD of 2006. A sought after film composer, David scored "American Pie", "American Pie 2", "Van Wilder", starring Ryan Reynolds, "Ambulance Girl", starring Kathy Bates, "Pop Rocks", starring Gary Cole and Sherilyn Fenn, as well as "Muppet Classic Theater" starring Kermit and Miss Piggy. On television you've heard his music on "The Cleaner", "Harper's Island, "Jericho" and "Cane". He served as music director and supervisor on the Emmy Award winning "Life With Judy Garland, Me and My Shadows" (written by the fabulous Robert L. Freedman) and received the coveted 2009 Ascap Achievement Award for his work on "High School Musical 3". He lives in Los Angeles with his collaborator/wife Faye Greenberg and his amazing daughter Mabel.
