ANTICIPATED RIGHTS FOR HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME
I'm on the Board of Directors for the Concord Players in Massachusetts, and I chair their Play & Director Selection Committee. We are just starting to form the potential docket for our 2017-18 season, and are very interested in considering Hunchback as our possible musical for that season.
Have there been any recent new estimates as to when the rights might be obtainable? We're considering a production in either November/December 2017, or April/May 2018.
Many thanks for your response!

Act 1
Hello,
I communicated with the author of this show about shortening the show to fit within time constraints of my venue, and he suggested I do just the frist act. Because of the show it is, I think it would totally work. Is this okay with MTI? Is there any other information you can provide? Thank you!

Pricing?
Hi, I work in a small village primary school and would love to do this show with my class of 27 children for the Christmas play this year. We charge a minimal entry fee to the performances of £1 to cover costs of props etc and only do two shows, one afternoon and another evening. Is there any chance of getting the script and music for any cheaper than €800?

Using a song for a festival
I have a student auditioning for the California Youth in Theatre Day, and she'd like to perform the song "The Spark of Creation" from CHILDREN OF EDEN. Do we have to pay royalties for her to perform this song? It's not a paid performance, nor is she paid to perform. It's simply a day a the California State Capital where our legislature recognizes the power and need for Theatre Education in our schools.

Annie Jr Dog
My understanding is that the JR version has the role of Sandy as being played by a cast member. Can a dog be used instead, or is there something about the Jr. rewrite that will require it be played by a cast member?
