The Drowsy Chaperone JR.

The Drowsy Chaperone JR.
Based on the Tony-winning musical comedy, a die-hard theatre fan's favorite musical comes to life in this hilarious farce.

A Broadway Junior adaptation of the Tony-winning musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone JR. is a loving satire of the Golden Age musical, featuring hysterical numbers and colorful characters. It is the perfect show for young performers with a knack for musical comedy.

A man shares with the audience his favorite record - the 1928 musical The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the record, the show comes to life in his apartment. Mix in two lovebirds on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and a sleepy chaperone, and you have the ingredients for a show that will have everyone laughing.

With plenty of hilarious roles, The Drowsy Chaperone JR. is a fun, delightful show for both performers and their audience.

Gotta ask again...

C'mon! Please! This has been up on your site for two full years... Some of us have done ALL of the Broadway Jr. shows that we care to do, and would REALLY like to continue to patronize MTI, but new titles hang out for literal years before being released... This is one that I would like to do. Please... PLEASE release it, and not another revue.

Yes, I have signed up to be notified, and have checked out your other titles.

Drowsy Chaperone JR

Hello! Is there an update of exactly when the JR version will be released? I would like to do it with my students and would prefer the JR version because of time limits and rehearsal limitations.

When will this show be available?

The page says Fall 2020... that's now. I REALLY want to do this show before Christmas this year... especially if streaming and/or remote performance rights will be available with it. Anyone? Anyone?
